Mental Health Resources in NYC

NYC DSA Medics know that it can be difficult to find mental health resources that are affordable and/or take insurance.

So we are reaching out to those in our networks and to organizations around the city to compile a list of providers and support groups that take insurance, offer a sliding scale, or are free. We are also researching, as best we can, practices and practitioners that are sensitive to the needs of people of color, sex workers, and queer and trans folx.

This will be an evolving document and we welcome recommendations! If you have had a negative experience with any of the groups or individuals we list, please let us know. We cannot thoroughly vet every person on this list, but will do our best. So we depend on your eyes, ears, and knowledge.
